How to report content#

Listings on VoxelRank are written by server owners, not by us. If something here infringes your copyright or trademark, or breaks our rules in some other way, tell us and we will act.

• Copyright or trademark · send a notice as described below to dmca@voxelrank.com.
• Fake players, scams, stolen builds, offensive content, impersonation · use the Report button on the server's page, or write to abuse@voxelrank.com.
• Privacy · your personal data in a listing or review · privacy@voxelrank.com.

What a takedown notice must contain#

Modelled on 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). A notice that is missing these elements will be sent back rather than acted on:

1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or an authorised agent.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. The exact URL on VoxelRank of the material you want removed, precise enough for us to find it.
4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.
5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and · under penalty of perjury · that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.

Send it to dmca@voxelrank.com. We acknowledge notices within 2 business days and usually remove or disable clearly infringing material within 5.

Counter-notice#

If your listing was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice containing: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake; your name, address and telephone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live or, if outside the US, of the courts where the operator is established.

We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have gone to court, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers and bad-faith notices#

Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated and their listings removed permanently.

Knowingly filing a false notice or counter-notice makes you liable for damages, including costs and lawyers' fees. We keep a record of every notice we receive, including the sender's details.

Notices from the EU (Digital Services Act)#

You can also submit a notice under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act. Explain why the content is illegal, give the exact URL, provide your name and e-mail (not required for suspected child sexual abuse material), and confirm that your notice is accurate and complete in good faith.

We tell you what we decided and why, and how to contest it · by replying to our decision e-mail, through an out-of-court dispute settlement body, or in court. We do not use automated decision-making to remove listings; a human reviews each one.

What happens to a reported server#

Reports land in a moderation queue. An administrator checks the listing, the evidence and the server's history, then either resolves the report (removing, correcting or delisting the server), or rejects it as unfounded. Repeated unfounded or automated reports against the same server are ignored and may cost you the ability to report.

We do not tell the reported owner who reported them.

VoxelRank is an independent, community-run listing site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Mojang Studios, Mojang AB, Microsoft Corporation, or any other publisher, developer or rights holder of a game listed here. All game names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the servers being listed.
