Vote reminders
One notification when your cooldown on a server actually ends · not before, and not on a schedule of ours. Servers set their own cooldown, so it is that server's interval, not a fixed one.
How it works
The cooldown is per player and per server, and it moves every time you vote. So we do not send a daily round-up: when you vote, we put one reminder in a queue for the moment that particular cooldown expires. Voting again moves it. There is never more than one reminder waiting per server.
- Quiet hours. Nothing arrives between 22:00 and 8:00 in your own time zone · a reminder that comes due then waits until the morning.
- A daily limit. At most 3 reminders a day, however many servers you follow. The rest wait their turn.
- No account needed. Reminders are keyed to the in-game name you vote with, nothing else.
Turning them off
Push: use the same switch you turned them on with, on any server page or vote page. It deletes the subscription here, not just the display. You can also revoke notifications for this site in your browser or phone settings · we delete the subscription the first time the push service tells us it is gone.
E-mail: every message has a one-click unsubscribe link that needs no login. It deletes the row outright.
