DayZ servers

There is no editor's pick here – the order comes from player votes and recent activity, so a listing near the top is one people keep coming back to. Past that it depends on what you want: sort by player count to see what is busy right now, or by rating to go by what players scored, narrow the list with the filters above so it matches how you play, and open a listing to read its reviews before you join.

Copy the address from the server's listing. 1. Open the DayZ Launcher – Click Play on DayZ in Steam. The launcher opens before the game does. 2. Use Direct Connect – Open the "Servers" tab and click "Direct Connect". 3. Enter the IP and port – Paste the IP and the port into their own boxes and click "Connect". If the server uses mods, the launcher offers to download them. 4. On Xbox or PlayStation – Open the server browser in the game and search for the server name.

Voting pushes a server up this month's ranking. Some servers also give you an in-game reward for it, and their listings say what it is. You can vote once every 24 hours per server. On the vote page you can sign in with Steam, so a server that gives vote rewards can find you by your SteamID. Or just type your in-game name.

Servers are ordered by votes received in the current calendar month, which resets on the 1st. Sponsor slots and premium plans buy visibility, never rank – they apply no boost of any kind, and every listing is ranked by votes alone.

Yes – every server listed here is free to join. Some sell optional cosmetic or convenience perks on their own store; look for the tags and reviews on each listing.

At our last check (October 3, 2026 at 7:12 PM UTC), the busiest were Rearmed US4 (121 players · 172.111.51.156), SAYONARA 3PP (80 players · 185.207.214.30) and Sunnyvale 11 (73 players · 172.111.51.135:2402). Player counts change all day, so the list on this page always has the latest numbers.

chernarusplus is the most common: 69 of the 111 that report a map run it, followed by NHChernobyl with 10.

Some do. At our last check, 5 of the 111 that report it asked for a password. Each server page says whether that server does.
