Vanilla Realms is a friendly semi-vanilla SMP for Java and Bedrock, all in one world. Not Minecraft Realms: an independent server, online since 2020, on a survival world that has never reset.
YOUR BUILDS ARE SAFE
Every new player starts with 2,000 claim blocks. Claims protect blocks, chests, animals and doors, and block fire and explosions inside them. Vote ranks add thousands more blocks over time, and the store sells extra. Build outside a claim and it's fair game, so claim first.
PVP IS YOUR CALL
PvP is off by default. Type /pvp to opt in, or fight in the /arena world and /duel, where deaths drop nothing.
AN EMERALD ECONOMY
There is no server money. Emeralds from villager trading are the currency, capped at 50 per four hours so prices stay stable and nobody gets rich overnight. Spend them in player chest shops, with NPC traders, or on Elite ranks bought with vanilla blocks. Advertise your shop with a player warp.
RANKS FROM VOTING
Twenty free ranks run from Newbie to Cartographer, earned by voting, with 2 to 9 homes, shop slots, claim blocks and emerald blocks along the way. Five Elite ranks cost vanilla blocks.
SEASONS AND THE SMITH LEGION
A new crate season arrives every two months without touching a single block you've built: currencies and gear stats reset, your crate profile and prestige carry over. The Smith Legion is an opt-in PvE world with three gear traders and an emerald mine that resets every 45 minutes. Weekly and monthly tournaments, season leaderboards and duels on top.
JAVA AND BEDROCK
Java 1.17 or newer joins at voxel.vanillarealms.com. Bedrock joins at the same address on port 19132, in the same world. Vivecraft works too.
FAIR AND MODERATED
Vulcan anticheat, a word filter, and staff who are around. No age rule, no application, no whitelist.
FREE TO PLAY
The store sells four paid ranks, crate keys and claim blocks. Parrot and above include keep inventory. No gear and no currency are sold.
Live player count, real players only: vanillarealms.com/stats. A Discord community of about 10,000: discord.gg/vanillarealms. Hosted in the eastern US.

You can vote for this server every 24 hours, and each vote counts for 100% of a full vote. It costs nothing, it is what decides the ranking on this site, and most servers pay you for it. Why points and not votes?
One Vote Key per vote, a Vote Token for the Token Trader, and vote-rank progress: 20 free ranks from Newbie to Cartographer are earned by voting.
Set by Vanilla Realms, not by us. The server delivers it in-game automatically.
One notification when you can vote for Vanilla Realms again, at about the time of day you voted last. Never before the vote opens, and never on any other subject. Nothing between 22:00 and 8:00 your time, and at most 3 a day however many servers you follow. How reminders work and how to stop them
The cooldown is per player, so this is how we know when yours is up. Both kinds of reminder need it.
We mail you once to confirm the address and send nothing at all until you click it. Every reminder afterwards carries a one-click unsubscribe that deletes the address.
Leave your in-game name and we will tell Vanilla Realms you found them on VoxelRank. Some servers hand out a one-off welcome reward for it – that is entirely up to them, and we cannot promise there is one.
Voting does this automatically – no need to do both.
