How do I join a server in Valheim?
Copy the address from the server's listing. 1. Start the game – Open Valheim, pick a character and click "Start". 2. Add the server – On the "Join Game" tab, click "Add server" and paste this address. 3. Connect – Select the server, click "Connect" and type the password if it asks for one.
How does voting for Valheim servers work?
Voting pushes a server up this month's ranking. Some servers also give you an in-game reward for it, and their listings say what it is. You can vote once every 24 hours per server. On the vote page you can sign in with Steam, so a server that gives vote rewards can find you by your SteamID. Or just type your in-game name.
How is the ranking calculated?
Servers are ordered by votes received in the current calendar month, which resets on the 1st. Sponsor slots and premium plans buy visibility, never rank – they apply no boost of any kind, and every listing is ranked by votes alone.
Are these Roleplay servers free to play on?
Yes – every server listed here is free to join. Some sell optional cosmetic or convenience perks on their own store; look for the tags and reviews on each listing.
